Quinn Clark is graduating with a degree in Writing for New Media and a minor in Creative Writing. She was the editor-in-chief of Mount Mary's award-winning student publication, Arches, where she discovered her passion for journalism. Quinn was a national nominee for Reporter of the Year, and winner of the prestigious Pacemaker Award. Under her leadership, Arches won over 30 awards, both nationally and state-wide.

After graduation, Quinn will continue her work as a freelance reporter and photographer.

Before I came to Mount Mary, I wasn’t sure I had what it took to be a successful journalist. Today I have the passion and self confidence I need to fairly report on stories that affect those from all walks of life… I don’t know if I would have had the courage to dive into this field without the support of Mount Mary, and I know that many of our success stories will trail back to this community that believed in us.”

As racial inequality, social injustice and the oppression of marginalized communities continue to occur across the nation, we return to our foundation.

Now more than ever, our core values of competence, community, compassion and commitment have been the guideposts in remaining true to our mission and relevant in an ever-changing world.
